The first eight speakers of next year’s Thinking Digital conference have been announced.
Taking place at The Sage Gateshead, the North East’s biggest digital event will welcome Walter de Brouwer, Belgian serial entrepreneur and the CEO of the European branch of One Laptop per Child initiative.
Nancy Duarte, one of the world’s most well-regarded authorities on presentation development and design, will also be speaking at the event. Duarte has, among her other achievements, created the slide presentation in Al Gore’s Oscar-winning film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’.
In addition, Thinking Digital 2011 will feature talks from Sam Martin, the editor-in-chief of design mind magazine; Erin McKean, the former editor-in-chief of the New Oxford American Dictionary and Magnus Lindkvist, Swedish trendspotter and technology visionary.
Now in its fourth year, Thinking Digital has become one of the most important events in the UK’s digital and technology industry’s calendar. Already, 182 people have signed up for tickets to next year’s event.
